Initially starting as a facial therapist, Jo’s passion for fragrance blossomed while running a skin care clinic from her London home. Her talent for handcrafting scented products led to the establishment of Jo Malone London, a brand that achieved global cult status. After selling the company to Estée Lauder Companies in 1999 and serving as Creative Director until 2006, Jo left to explore other interests. She was honored with an MBE in 2008 for her contributions to the beauty industry.
Driven by her enduring passion for fragrance and inspired by her love of cooking, Jo returned to the beauty scene in 2011 with a new brand, Jo Loves. This venture was marked by the opening of the first Jo Loves store in 2013 on Elizabeth Street in Belgravia, where she once worked as a florist at sixteen. Jo Loves reflects her commitment to creating innovative and unexpected fragrances, embodied in products that exude integrity, creativity, and innovation.
