Cathal Sheridan
Performance Psychologist
Cathal Sheridan is one of Ireland’s leading Performance Psychologists, working with Munster Rugby, Rowing Ireland’s record-breaking 2024 Olympic team, and the 2025 All-Ireland–winning Tipperary hurlers and Kerry footballers.
Cathal is the Head of Sport & Performance Psychology with Munster Rugby and also serves as the lead Performance Psychologist with Rowing Ireland, working with the team for the Paris games in 2024 where the team had their most successful ever Olympic Games. Most recently in 2025, he worked as Performance Coach for both the Tipperary Senior Hurlers, as well the Kerry Men’s Senior Footballers as both teams went on to win All Ireland titles in the same year. He is also a former professional rugby player with Munster Rugby. Cathal has and continues to work closely with Rugby Players Ireland, with a specific focus on on their mental health campaigns.
Cathal Sheridan delivers engaging keynotes and workshops that equip individuals and teams to perform at their best. He speaks on building belief through vision, self-confidence and effective goal setting, as well as thriving under pressure by understanding its roots and preparing to stay calm in challenging moments.
