Ronan is also a Career Path, Leadership development, Skills and Motivational Speaker currently involved with many Universities across Ireland, Including University of Ulster, Queen’s University Belfast, Dublin City University & a range of ATU Atlantic Technological Universities/Colleges.
Construction industry expert Ronan has been in the construction industry from a very early age. Coming from an Engineering background before progressing through a National Diploma in Construction, Ronan then completed a Higher National Diploma In Construction Management, and a BSC Hons Degree in Construction, Engineering & Management before finally achieving a Chartered status with Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) which is highly regarded as the highest accolade of a construction professional in the UK. Through his work Ronan was elected by his chartership as the Tomorrow’s Leader Champion for Ireland by the CIOB to help resolve the hurdles between university graduates and the Prestigious Chartered status but more importantly inspires and motivates the younger generation to join the Construction industry.
In his experience he has worked with some of the largest Tier Construction, Civil & Specialist companies in the UK and Ireland. He has a vast wealth of experience in Commercial, Industrial, Educational, High Rise, Aquatic, Civil, Restoration & Conversation construction projects in both the Public and Private sectors. Recently he successfully completed the handover of the Infamous Belfast Primark Bank Buildings Restoration & Conservation Rebuild in the Belfast City Centre months ahead of schedule. The building burned down in 2019 has since gone on to win many awards.
Construction Industry Expert Ronan is also a former Heavyweight Ulster champion boxer & featured as a Former Sparring partner of Freddie Flintoff in the TV Series Flintoff: From Lords to the Ring. He has played GAA at a high level and was a TV reality star in the return of the hugely popular TG4 Underdogs TV Show which returned to screens in 2018. Ronan has been involved with GAA his whole life and also is a Guinness World record holder for being involved in the longest GAA match in history as well as many other achievements on and off the pitch. He has great experience in coaching teams and combines his experience talking to a large number of people in his profession daily to become a very well spoken and professional inspirational, motivational and leadership driven public speaker.
