Jordan Adams

Co-Founder of FTD Brothers | Dementia & Alzheimer's Advocate

Jordan Adams is the co-founder of The FTD Brothers, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness of dementia, accelerate research into a cure and support those affected. Jordan and his brother Cian both carry the rare inherited MAPT gene mutation, giving them a 99.9% chance of developing Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) in their 40s, the same devastating form of dementia that claimed the lives of their mother and 12 members of their Irish family. After eight years of campaigning and fundraising, determined to make the world listen, Jordan completed the London Marathon carrying a 25kg fridge on his back before running a further 32 marathons in 32 consecutive days across every county in Ireland. The challenge captured international attention, earned support from HRH The Prince of Wales, and has raised more than £2.4 million for dementia research and support.
