Colin Judge’s journey is a testament to resilience, perseverance, and self-belief. Born with no legs and one arm, Colin faced significant challenges growing up, including self-doubt and struggles with mental health. Determined to change his circumstances, he found a transformative passion in table tennis, which not only ignited his competitive spirit but also helped him embrace his identity and unlock his potential.
Colin’s dedication to both academics and sport is remarkable. He made his international table tennis debut at just 18 while preparing for his Leaving Cert, and later graduated with a 2:1 in Actuarial and Financial Studies from UCD. After working as an actuary at KPMG for two years, he took a sabbatical to focus on his Paralympic dream. Over the years, Colin has become a dominant figure in his sport, earning the title of European Champion, winning numerous international titles, and competing at both Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, where he reached the last 16.
Beyond his athletic achievements, Colin is a passionate advocate for resilience, gratitude, and diversity. He shares his story with audiences worldwide, inspiring others to overcome adversity, embrace their uniqueness, and pursue their goals without limits. With his sights now set on LA 2028, Colin continues to push boundaries both on and off the table, proving that challenges can be transformed into opportunities for greatness.
