International Football FIFA Assistant Referee

Michelle, hailing from County Wexford, is an international football FIFA Assistant referee. She has progressed through the FAI’s School of Excellence on to the Irish Elite Referees Panel
becoming a regular in the SSE Airtricity League, FAI Cup Finals, Women’s National League ,along with International FIFA & UEFA World Cup and European Championships.

Some of Michelle’s many accolades include becoming the first ever Irish person to officiate at a FIFA World Cup Final (France 2019). Michelle was part of the first ever all Female trio to officiate at a Men’s UEFA Super Cup Final (Liverpool v Chelsea 2019) and also the International FIFA Assistant Referee continued to make history as the first Irish native to officiate Football at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Michelle is a certified Fitness Instructor and Swim Teacher. Her journey is even more
impressive given the commitment and dedication put into refereeing and the many different aspects of her training. Michelle has led a very inspiring life and is great at telling her story, making her a great choice for speaking engagements.
