Katie is a speaker, coach, facilitator and conference host. She is equally comfortable coaching, speaking or hosting large scale international conferences.
After 12 years working as a journalist and TV news presenter for the BBC, ITN and Channel 5 News, Katie now uses her skills in the business sector to rapidly get to the heart of the matter. She helps leaders gain clarity, stay cool under pressure and craft compelling messages to engage their audience.
Katie has worked as a coach and facilitator for more than 10 years helping leaders in multiple markets and geographies. She has worked extensively with senior executives and innovators in media and technology sectors in companies such as Xerox, Microsoft and Google helping them to unlock their potential and deliver results despite the pressure. She has facilitated discussions with high profile leaders such as David Cameron, Steve Ballmer, Gordon Brown, and Ursula Burns (Xerox CEO) – travelling with some around the world.
Based largely on her experience of living and working in Hong Kong for 4 years, Katie has co-written a book on how to create a portfolio career and succeed in multi market sectors called And What Do You Do? Asia taught her that agile innovation and the ability to keep redefining ourselves and our work is essential to really thriving.
Katie has a high energy, pragmatic and down to earth style that is infectious. She is a fantastic listener and communicator – immediately creating trust with people she works with. She is gently encouraging but is not afraid to introduce new concepts or challenge thinking. She expertly guides audiences through the practical tools required to enable them to perform at their best especially under pressure.
